Resumen

La pandemia por SARS-Cov2 será uno de los hechos de mayor daño y trascendencia para la humanidad durante la edad contemporánea, con repercusiones negativas en todos los ámbitos de vida colectiva. Si bien los criterios comprensivos de daño patológico individual son relevantes, el efecto de la determinación social ha confluido en una consideración de nueva normalidad, al finalizar el efecto global de la enfermedad. Un criterio sustancial de abordaje para la investigación epidemiológica al respecto, más allá de las características de la entidad nosológica, las alternativas terapéuticas y el desarrollo de una vacuna, será comprender la relación con indicadores de rezago y vulneración social. Para tal fin se realizó un estudio ecológico hasta el ámbito municipal en el estado de Veracruz para conocer el desarrollo de la enfermedad, los diferenciales de magnitud en base a comorbilidad y riesgo, así como un análisis de correlación para sentar bases de comprensión poblacional.
