Abstract
This work addresses social policy and the construction of citizenship in relation to the place that women occupied in the labor market during the period 1999-2015 in Argentina. The objective is to recognize the complexity in which women must enter the labor market and the policies developed in relation to their labor rights. The work is developed based on a qualitative methodology, based on the analysis of the theoretical contributions related to the topic and the recovery of the voices of women who attempted to enter the workforce in the period studied. In general, it is possible to affirm that the role that the State must play as a guarantee of equal opportunities must allow the construction of solid foundations in all dimensions that imply inclusive social/cultural capital.
