Diagnosis of green areas of the Adolfo Ruiz Cortines ridge: Diagnóstico del dosel vegetal en el boulevard Adolfo Ruiz Cortines en Poza Rica

Abstract

Trees play an important role in public space, as they protect from rain, provide shade, visually improve the environment, provide biodiversity and also provide the opportunity to observe the development of activities around it. Among the benefits of urban trees are the improvement in air quality, temperature reduction, absorption of carbon dioxide among other greenhouse gases such as carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide, as well as emitting the valuable oxygen. This document presents the diagnosis of the wooded areas on the primary road of the central municipality of the Metropolitan Zone of Poza Rica.
