Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic, which has affected all areas of people's lives worldwide, continues to exist. Such is the case of museums, one of the spaces within the cultural sector that has had a significant impact, since there are still enclosures that are closed and others, although they have already opened their doors, have not managed to have the activities and visitors, which in other years were glimpsed. This text presents the data on the date of opening, closing and reopening of museums in the state of Veracruz with the aim of being able to trace the historical trajectories of the venues, with special emphasis on the period of the COVID 19 pandemic. , that serve as input to possible research in the economic, social and cultural fields. Although there is still no certainty about when it will end, the reality has changed, which has meant a process of adaptation in all public spheres.
