Abstract
The guidelines and regulations are normative and management instruments that allow optimal operation of the functions of museum organizations, however, little or no attention has been paid to them by said venues. At the international level, there is an institutional and regulatory framework that guides museum work. For this reason, the University Observatory of Museums reviewed and analyzed the regulations of the museums of the state of Veracruz from November 2022 to May 2023, with the aim of identifying which legal, regulatory and administrative documents exist. As part of the results, it is highlighted that there are few museum venues that have these provisions, which is why an area of opportunity is presented for the development of these instruments with a view to strengthening the teamwork of these organizations.
